Summary/Abstract: Analysing the smartphone usage of Hungarian adolescents from Romania, Orsolya Gergely points out that, while the use of smartphones is gaining ground spectacularly in the lives of young people, attitudes are divided on the matter. Approaches to telephone use have become an important issue in school education, and a particular typology can be outlined regarding teachers’ attitudes on the issue. Like other researchers, Gergely also shows that the generation gap currently hinders the strategic application of ICT tools in schools.
