Summary/Abstract: A characteristic feature of rural areas in Bulgaria is lagging behind. Following the general direction of sustainable development, the CAP and RDP contribute to solving economic, social and environmental problems in rural areas. The measures included in them aim to achieve a balanced development of rural areas, stimulating the competitiveness of the agrarian sector and improving the quality of life of the local population.
