Summary/Abstract: This paper serves as a sketchy comparative analysis of religious values from the perspectives of European and American cultures. Using the sociological method, the author presents a trend analysis of the role that religious and moral values play in the private and public life. Because values are rooted in their substrate and social change, the sociological positivist theory of classic transition is analyzed in its relationship with the trend of relativism. They highlight the living conditions and interests, as they meet in the nodal point of legal positivism.
