Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this chapter is, starting with a review of the definition of entrepreneurship, to draw attention to the factors promoting the development of entrepreneurship and show barriers to the development of entrepreneurship of young people in rural areas. Determinants can be divided into three levels of conditions relating to entrepreneurial attitudes, ie. personality traits, which provide a framework of internal conditions. The external environment consists of the macro conditions and local conditions. In this chapter I focus on the presentation of socio-cultural entrepreneurial mindset that fall within the scope of the macro-environment conditions.
