Summary/Abstract: Did the Cold War, or rather the end of it, represent any kind of fundamental milestone in armed conflicts? Answering this question became the central research focus of a project undertaken by a group of specialists from the Department of International Relations and European Studies at the Faculty of Social Studies of Masaryk University as part of the grant funded project “Armed Conflicts in International Relations after the end of the Cold War”. The project was supported by the Grant Agency of the Czech Republic.
