Summary/Abstract: This paper deals with Iran’s foreign policy towards Iraq and towards Afghanistan in the pre-Islamic State period. Author analyses Iran-Iraq relations, Iran-Afghanistan relations and she compares Iran’s policy towards Iraq and towards Afghanistan. Causes, goals, contents, and actors of these relations are researched.
