Summary/Abstract: Companies or firms can use many different methods, approaches and risk management processes. These approaches could be divided by many differing factors. One of the main ones may be the finding if they approach it by a systemic or intuitive way. This article deals with the issue how systematically construction companies in the Czech Republic approach the risk management. Systemic level of risk management is thing very voluminous and common. It could be explored by many visual angles and measured through many different factors. Important is determine basic criterion, according to whose will systemic level of risk management in organization assesment. In this work the criterion for assessment of risk management systemic level is risk characteristics.
