Summary/Abstract: One of the very stable social myths in the public discourse in Germany is that the process of social integration of Turks as an ethnic group and Moslems as a religious group has failed. Problems with head scarf, honour murderings, juvenile violence acts, higher unemployment rates or lack of German language competencies are even shown as valid indicators for this assumption.
