Summary/Abstract: The objective of the article is to present differences and similarities in the perception of Jewish women and their lives in the perspective of selected prayer texts: edited in national languages and published in Moravia, in the Kingdom of Poland and in the German Empire. Three nineteenth century Jewish women – Fanny Neuda, Rozalia Saulson and unidentified Fanny G…r – published these collections of prayers with Jewish women and girls in mind. They promote traditional role models and social roles (of religious Jewish women, mothers, housewives).
