Summary/Abstract: A collection of articles based on materials obtained during ethnographical fieldwork in Lelów and neighbouring towns. The authors describe activities connected to the construction of local heritage, analysing them in the broader context of the memory of Lelów’s past and its inhabitants, the memory of the Jewish community and the Holocaust, as well as in relation to the experiences of the interviewees resulting from contact with the Hasids who visit Lelów contemporarily.
