Summary/Abstract: The purpose of the article is to provide a concise description of the Great Hungarian Dictionary (A magyar nyelv nagyszótára). This dictionary is based on corpus data and createdis as a database in XML format. The article presents general characteristics lexicographic dictionary, source material used in its creation, search capabilities of the historical corpus and various types of entries used.
