Summary/Abstract: The author is interested in the relations of appropriation that function between such fields of art as the theatre, the visual arts, the installation, the performance. Building on the example of the activity of the Black Mountain College and J. Beuys, she analyses the artistic methods of questioning the category classifications. Referring to the essential character of the artistic element that can take different forms, the author points out the connections between different fields of art. In her opinion, this primordial element is the motion, together with the temporary quality and the light.
