Summary/Abstract: The essay deals with the subject of the roots of the aesthetics in the modern theatre. It seems that nowadays the basis for the new alphabet of the stage is a concept of trace, and the syntax of its language is the order corresponding with the rules of the Derridian grammatology. What is a trace? How should it be read? Where are the origins of this concept? What order of senses can be hidden behind the attempt (based on the concept of trace) to construct the art reality? What shape does it take? What new values does the aesthetic experience bring into the understanding of the concept of trace?
