Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article is to characterize the reading preferences of Cracow teenagers. The work opens with the recall of key trends of contemporary youth readership (eg. use of electronic publications, preferring other forms of leisure, fashion not-to-read, etc.). Then the methodology of the survey conducted among selected Cracow teenagers is described. Reflections on current trends in readership teens can be found at the last part of the text.
