Summary/Abstract: In 2012 the EU brings up the need of a Comprehensive investment agreement with China – its second largest trade partner. The report presents from the European perspective the current situation with the FDI flows between EU and China, the obstacles in front of a more effective international investment policy, the objectives and tasks of the agreement and also the estimated effect of the treaty.
