Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the results of the study, which examined science teachers’ evaluation of online science literacy competence in their students. Data was collected through adopted TICA questionnaire for accessing students’ basic computer competence, finding a suitable website, locating information on the website and critically evaluating the information. Results show: the digital generation does not enter the school as online literate. Online (science) literacy is developing in the educational process – and must be taught in the educational process.
