Summary/Abstract: The following article presents Mandatory Convertibles as an instrument of hybrid financing. The paper describes its genesis, characteristics and advantages over traditional financing instruments. There are graphically depicted different pay-off profiles and decomposition, which is important for the valuation of the product.
