Summary/Abstract: Sports media have faced an unusual challenge with the announcement of the Cocvid-19 pandemic in March 2020, as all sports life worldwide stopped for more than two months. They had to find alternative solutions to keep them in the spotlight. At the same time, the financial flows from subscription fees did not have to be interrupted. This article discusses the different approaches in filling the gap of live sports content and possible solutions in the production of emergency television products. The good practices and solutions that could be developed in future crises in world sports are also considered.
