Summary/Abstract: Despite the pandemic-provoked economic crisis, European Commission (EC) President Ursula von der Leyen is not giving up on the main items of her strategy unveiled last year. In the State of the Union address on 16 September, she manifested her determination to use the economic recovery programme to speed up the green and digital transformations.
