Summary/Abstract: In times of diminished regional interest in EU accession, which finds at its center tensions over historical-cultural claims between North Macedonia and Bulgaria preceded by a decades long similar dispute with Greece, we look for examples in the Visegrad 4 group of country for overcoming regional nationalism and propose routes for EU's further enlargement.
