Summary/Abstract: The new issue of the newsletter through ACCESS to JUSTICE brings the author's texts of the deputy prosecutor for war crimes of the Republic of Serbia, Bruno Vekarić, and the program director of the Youth Initiative for Human Rights in Croatia, Mario Mažić.In his author's text, Bruno Vekarić writes about the importance of a strategic framework for the prosecution of war crimes and the preparation of the strategy of the Prosecutor's Office, the aim of which will be the investigation and prosecution of all those responsible for the crimes committed during the armed conflicts in the former Yugoslavia. Mario Mažić writes about the relationship between Croatian institutions and the EU according to the need for Croatia, as a post-conflict country, to implement reforms that will include the implementation of transitional justice mechanisms before joining the community of European states.
