Summary/Abstract: This document reviews laws and policies related to tobacco control and especially tobacco taxation in the Republic of Macedonia. It also examines current and potential future impact of tobacco laws and policies on domestic consumption of tobacco products. The primary focus is on tobacco taxation and pricing policies as well as on the excise tax revenues collected from the domestic sales of cigarettes and the impact of the changes to the Excise Tax Law in effect until 2023.
