Summary/Abstract: The main priorities of the Czech Presidency of the Council of the EU, which the Czech Republic at the beginning of this year, i.e. took over from France in 2009, they were summarized in the slogan "3E" - economy, energy and Europe and the world. The field of external relations is one of the biggest challenges of every presidency, and the Czech Republic intends to engage primarily in the development of transatlantic relations and the European Neighborhood Policy, within which attention is paid to, among other things, relations with the Russian Federation.
