Summary/Abstract: Since the signing of the Fiscal Treaty at the beginning of March, which was widely discussed in the Czech Republic, the European Union and its member states have undergone further dynamic development. There were presidential and parliamentary elections in France and double parliamentary elections in Greece. Spain and Cyprus got into economic difficulties. Further steps were discussed at the European level in the form of pro-growth measures, the banking union, and more generally formulated theses about the necessity of Europe began to come from Germany at a faster pace.
