Summary/Abstract: Regional cooperation within various platforms and formats is a multi-layered process involving a number of actors at various levels. Since the fall of the Iron Curtain, the Czech Republic has been actively involved in this type of cooperation. Its location in Central Europe determines the nature of this cooperation with countries in its immediate vicinity, but there is also involvement in platforms outside Central Europe. The intensity of cooperation is determined not only by the political situation in the individual countries involved, but especially by the topics discussed and the interests of the Czech Republic.
