Summary/Abstract: Mutual ignorance is a major constraint on stronger bilateral cooperation between Poland and India. After two decades of economic and political transformation, the image of modern Poland has still not reached India, thus hampering business opportunities and closer political ties. As India is becoming a world power, Poland will have to invest more to enhance its visibility in India as a precondition to higher level bilateral relations.
