Summary/Abstract: National survey of public officials, conducted in 1999 among 320 officials and in 2002 among 412 officials. The research method is face-to-face interview. During both monitored periods corruption is assessed by public officials as one of the five most important national problems. In its importance corruption is commensurate with the main socio-economic problems our society is facing.
