Summary/Abstract: The Royal Forest homicide and the resignation of the Prosecutor General, Valeriu Zubco, have triggered a range of statements and comments concerning the external implications of this event on the Republic of Moldova European path. Of the many comments made lately it is enough to quote the one made, in an ultimate tone, by a well-known political commentator: “We compromise the chances of having a liberalized visa regime. In 2013, we will not have, for sure, a liberalized visa regime. Also because of this scandal.” In this article we ask how much the hunting incident in the Royal Forest could affect the image of the Republic of Moldova
