Short Description
Istoriya-History Journal has over half a century existence and it has proved to be one of the most prominent educational journals in the field of the Bulgarian humanities. It is orientated to the general reading public and its goals are directed to the support it could provide in teaching and also in examining the national, the regional and the world history from antiquity to nowadays. The published articles and studies are structured in particular rubrics that range over a variety of subjects and discussion problems within the historical knowledge area.
Bulgarian leading specialists, renowned both in Bulgaria and abroad, have been among the authors of this educational journal.
During the years the journal History is strengthening its position as a beneficial academic edition for teachers and students. Its practical significance is closely committed to other fields of education and science and its current purpose is to progress in treasuring the historical values and the spirit of the past in order to answer the requirements of sharing them in our present.
