Short Description
The Polish Soundscape Journal is a publishing initiative of a research community associated with the Soundscape Research Studio, founded in 2009 at the University of Wrocław, Poland. The Polish Soundscape Journal is dedicated to issues in soundscape and sound studies. Its goal is to provide a permanent interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary forum for the presentation of research in these fields and a place for open discussion in their investigations. Our intention is to invite scholars from various disciplines to collaborate, but also artists wishing to share their concepts of work with and around sound, as well as acoustic designers, field recording practitioners, architects, urban planners, and finally, activists in the public sphere and organizers of social life.
