Short Description
Acta Historica Tallinnensia is an annual Scientific publication of the Institute of History (Tallinn) and the Estonian Academy of Sciences. Main languages of publishing are English and Estonian but articles in German are also accepted; all papers in Estonian have an extended summary in English and papers in foreign languages have summaries in Estonian. The journal has an international editorial board (scholars from Estonia, Sweden and Lithuania). All articles are prereviewed. The journal is open to authors from Estonia and from abroad providing the contributions which meet the requirements of scientific papers. Articles dealing with history of Estonia and neighbouring areas around the Baltic Sea and in North-Eastern Europe from the middle ages up to nowadays are preferred. We also publish interdisciplinary papers, articles on philosophy of history and art history. Acta is also open for review articles and debates.
