Short Description
“Studies from the Social and Economic History of the 19th and 20th Centuries” is a scientific journal devoted to social and economic issues. It is the only scientific publication of this type that appears periodically on the Polish publishing market. It publishes articles, minor works, source materials and publications, review articles and reviews, polemics and other forms of scientific statements about the history of Poland and the history of Poland from the end of the eighteenth century to modern times.
Authors publishing in “Studia” come from many scientific centers from Poland and abroad. The works they prepare represent a high substantive level, and the journal has entered the scientific circuit.
The first volume of “Studies” appeared in 2003. The initiator of the magazine’s creation was prof. dr hab. Wiesław Puś, who was also the Editor-in-Chief of the first nine volumes. Since 2012, the duties of the Editor-in-Chief have been taken by prof. dr hab. Jarosław Kita, previously co-editor of volumes VII-IX.
