Short Description

"Studia Scandinavica" is an interdisciplinary scientific journal of Scandinavian Studies at the University of Gdańsk. Dedicated to enhancing knowledge about the language, literature, culture and history of the Baltic region in Northern Europe, it addresses Poland’s growing interest in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. Furthermore, the articles constitute a database for topics related to
the Nordic countries as well as highlight important issues, which, according to their authors and the journal editors, creatively contributes to the development of humanities-related knowledge about the Nordic countries. "Studia Scandinavica" welcomes submissions published in the Scandinavian languages as well as in the English language, which facilitates a dialogue between Polish specialists in Scandinavian Studies and researchers investigating similar issues in other countries as well as encourages scientists from foreign Scandinavian Studies centers to publish their research work.
