Short Description
21st Century Media and Communications is a peer-reviewed academic journal published by the Faculty of Modern Languages of St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo. Established in 2017, the journal comes out once a year. It is published both in print form and electronically.
21st Century Media and Communications is dedicated to publishing and disseminating innovative research in the humanities and social sciences. The disciplines covered by the journal are: Media and Communications; Journalism; Public Relations; Advertising.
The journal aims to contribute to the development of academic knowledge in the fields of 21st century media and communications, as well as in the realm of educational theory and practice in this sphere.
Each issue focuses on a special topic but also includes a Varia section, which contains articles unrelated to it but within the specified range of the journal. Manuscripts are accepted in Bulgarian, English and Russian languages. All manuscripts submitted for publication are screened for plagiarism and submitted to a double-blind peer-review process, strictly adhering to the norms of publication ethics.
