The scientific journal Analele Universităţii Bucureşti. Limba şi Literatura română (The Annals of the University of Bucharest. Studies of Romanian Language and Literature) appears since 1969 and publishes articles, studies, reviews dealing with various and relevant philological topics, encouraging the researches undertaken from a pluri- and interdisciplinary viewpoint: Romanian language (theoretical and applied approaches; synchronic/diachronic/comparative perspective, etc.); General Linguistics regarding Romanian and other languages; Romanian Literature; Universal and Comparative Literature; Theory of Literature; Cultural Anthropology; Romanian and Comparative Folklore.
