Short Description
The Polish Linguistic Society Journal (BPTJ) publishes original scientific and review articles from all sub-disciplines of linguistics, as well as obituaries of deceased linguists and reports from the annual Congresses of the Polish Linguistic Society.
The main goal of the Journal is to exchange scientific ideas and publish the results of research on various languages conducted in mainly Polish research centers.
The mission of the Journal is also to disseminate Polish linguistic research not only in Poland, but also around the world. Therefore, the Journal is available in the open access mode online on the BPTJ website and in various databases, e.g. EBSCO, The Central European Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities; ICI Journals Master List – Index Copernicus, “Multidisciplinary Open System of Knowledge Transfer – MOST Wiedzy” – a database of publishing policies. The Journal is distributed to foreign libraries, such as Harvard College Library, Library of Congress USA, The British Library.
The thematic scope of the Journal covers general, cross-sectional issues central to the study of the theory of language and methodology of linguistic research.
