Short Description
Asia-Pacific is an academic journal focusing on studies of East, Southeast and South Asia, and the Pacific region. Its research scope is interdisciplinary, drawing primarily on the disciplines of sociology, political science, international relations, economics, communication and media studies, and geography. Our authors concentrate on contemporary issues, events and processes in their wider historical and cultural contexts.
Our journal has been published regularly since 1998, first annually and biannually from 2022. Since then, it has been curated jointly by the SWPS University and by the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies of the University of Warsaw.
