Short Description
‛Between the Worlds’ is a specialized scientific series developed by the ‘Balkan Ethnology’ department at the Institute of Ethnology and Folklore Studies with the Ethnographic Museum at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. This series arises from the engaging discussions and valuable insights gathered during our annual conferences, which cover a diverse range of multidisciplinary topics. These encompass ethnology, anthropology, history, sociology, political science, and others, creating a rich tapestry of arguments and perspectives.
The primary aim of the series is to foster collaboration among diverse stakeholders, including researchers, specialists, and experts from various universities and academic or professional institutions. By bringing together these individuals, the series aims to tackle pressing public and scientific issues, facilitating a vibrant exchange of ideas and viewpoints.
Through this collaborative effort, ‘Between the Worlds’ aims not only to deepen scholarly understanding but also to impact practical solutions for the contemporary challenges that societies face today.
