Short Description
„Insurance Law” is an academic quarterly devoted to the legal and economic aspects of business insurance and related issues of civil, commercial, financial and administrative law. This, of course, does not exclude the publication of articles from other branches of law which are of significance for the insurance sector and for the pension system. „Insurance Law” contains articles and academic dissertations, explanations of judgments of common courts, the Supreme Court and the Court of Justice of the European Union, and commentaries to laws and regulations (including amendments) and drafts of new legal acts. These resources, drawing on the achievements of both academia and business, are of great value in the interpreting of legal regulations. The articles deal with a range of issues, including the problems of commercial insurance, the implementation of Community law regulations into the Polish legal system, foreign insurance law, and the practice of insurance and jurisprudence in other countries. The aim of the journal is to support the development of knowledge in the field of insurance law and the functioning of the insurance market.
