Kaunas University of Technology Panevėžys Institute Faculty of Management and Administration has been organizing the international scientific conference „Changes in Social and Business Environment“ since 2006. The fourth international conference „Changes in Social and Business Environment“ CISABE’11 in the Faculty of Management and Administration it provides the multidisciplinary scientific forum for researchers and fosters the higher education academic values. The aim of the conference is to encourage the dissemination of the new scientific knowledge that reflects the transformations in social and business spheres both regionally and on global scale; to foster the exchange of best practice examples among the scholars and practitioners as well as the collective learning. The conference proceedings embrace the research findings of scholars from different countries on the contemporary business, finance and economics, marketing, education and social life issues.

At Kaunas University of Technology the research work publication titled ,,ENGINEERING ECONOMICS” has released since 1990. During that period of time a form, content and periodicity has been changing. Until 1997 it was released just once but now it comes five times a year. In 1999 the publication was accepted to the list of Lithuanian periodicals and continued publications recognised for Doctoral dissertation and habilitation. The publication is referred to the analysis of problems in engineering economics, engineering solutions, new technologies, economic evaluation and substantiation of management modules. Scholars, doctoral students from all higher schools and research institutions in Lithuania and also people form industry present their articles in this publication. Scholars from the USA, Poland, Germany, Russia, Slovakia, Czech Republic and other countries have published their papers there. This tradition will be continued. We are glad to publish reviews of the textbooks, monographs and other books, also the articles on implementating foreign state know-how of market economics and management to the Lithuanian enterprises. The Journal is sent to the following countries: Australia, Denmark, Germany, Holand, Poland, Russia, USA. We believe that articles of this publication will help to put scientific innovations into practice and more efficient solutions in the engineering economics will be accepted. The academic research journal KALBŲ STUDIJOS/ STUDIES ABOUT LANGUAGES (ISSN 1648-2824) (Kaunas University of Technology, Lithuania) was founded in 2001. It is dealing with the problems of linguistics, sociolinguistics, computational linguistics and language studies. The articles are reviewed by the members of the editorial board or their appointed reviewers. The journal is a biannual publication (to be published in June and December). It is released in print and electronic form (URL: http://www.kalbos.lt). The articles are published in five languages (as submitted by the authors): English, German, French, Russian and Lithuanian.
