“Pro Lege” is a review open to studies, articles, comments, analyses, opinions and researches dedicated to institutions dealing in criminal law, criminal procedural law, forensics, criminology, judicial statistics, and in other fields relating to the Public Ministry’s activity.
The review also publishes theoretical syntheses on judicial practice, as well as Romanian and European jurisprudence, together with advisory or critical notes, considered from a scientific viewpoint.
At the same time, the review publishes legislative updates together with conclusive considerations, summaries of works of famous foreign authors, restitutions of works made by our ancestors, the glass case of the judicial book, as well as other various works of interest under the column “Miscellany”.
Therefore the magazine offers its readers very valuable and paramount ideas and theories, opinions and viewpoints, scientific researches and interesting practical applications.
The review’s aim is to be a useful tool not only for insolvency practitioners and for the members of The National Union of Insolvency Practitioners in Romania, but also for other jurists (like lawyers or judges) and company managers that face insolvency, bankruptcy or liquidation procedures, both at national level and international.
It contains both practical and scientific studies, written by practitioners, as well as by law professors.
The journal Annals of the West University of Timisoara – Law Series is a periodical comprehensive publication in law, biannually published, edited by the Faculty of Law, West University of Timisoara. The journal is structured according to sections that reflect the scientific work of several valuable professors in the field of private law and public law, plus the contributions of doctoral students or other young researchers.

More...Previously published as Revista de drept maritim / Journal of maritime law, the Romanian Journal of Maritime Law (REVISTA ROMÂNĂ DE DREPT MARITIM) is one of the few specialized journals in this field and stands out for the novelty of the information presented. It continues the series of specialized periodicals in the field of maritime law and the sea. Current topics are addressed, the articles being signed by important names, personalities from the country or abroad, who debate topics of maximum interest and offer the latest information in the field.
The published articles are mainly addressed to specialists in the field of maritime and sea law, offering both doctrinal elements, but also commented judicial practice (regarding decisions issued by the Court of Justice of the European Union).
Starting with 2021, the publication was moved from Hamangiu Publishing House to Universul Juridic. Previously published issues can be browsed on the old profile.
With a vast experience in organizing international scientific events, Titu Maiorescu University launched, in 2013, a new scientific challenge by organizing the International Conference on Law, European Studies and International Relations. At the first editions, more than 700 scientific works of renowned professors, researchers and PhD students from Romania and abroad were presented. Held trilingually, in Romanian, English and French, the ten editions enjoyed the presence of over 50 professors from universities in Spain, Italy, France, Israel, Poland, Bulgaria, Morocco, Germany and India.
The volumes edited during the eight editions of the conference, produced by the Hamangiu Publishing House, were distributed to each participant, as well as to renowned Romanian law professors, as well as to university libraries.
