
Complications in the Czech Republic’s Relations towards Russia
Political relations between the Czech and Russian governments are deteriorating. The breakup of a network of Russian hackers, the removal of a monument to Soviet Marshal Ivan Konev in Prague, and intensifying relations between the Czech Republic, Ukraine, and the U.S. have all contributed to this trend in recent months. Nevertheless, bilateral economic relations are developing, as seen by the increase in trade and strengthening of energy integration.
