Kontrowersje wokół kształtu polskiej administracji wyborczej
Present model of electoral administration in Poland is characterized by the independence of electoral bodies, especially from other state authorities, political neutrality and considerable participation of judges as members of electoral commissions. However, recently an idea of change in the system of Polish electoral bodies (including Polish State Electoral Commission and regional electoral commissions) has been initiated by one of the political parties. Author analyzes and evaluates this proposal, taking into consideration the judicial decisions in electoral matters, views expressed in the doctrine of electoral law and – what is the most important – the voters’ opinions about the functioning of electoral administration in Poland.
