This analysis represents the results of a specialised study of the educational integration of refugee and asylum-seeking children (RASC) in the Member States of the European Union, conducted in 2011 by the Center for the Study of Democracy within the framework on the INTEGRACE project. With regard to Bulgaria, the main approaches, mechanisms and deficiencies in the system for educational integration of RASC were presented and recommendations for its improvement were given.

This volume includes the abstracts of the papers presented at the international conference "Education in the perspective of values", 16th Edition, October 9-11, 2024, "1 Decembrie 1918" University of Alba Iulia (Romania). The International Conference "Education in the perspective of values" remained a generous and fruitful environment for debate this year, in which research ideas were presented and models and paradigms were supported, aiming to answer research questions relevant to educational problems. Research results were presented that aimed to bring conceptual clarifications and offer praxiological suggestions to pressing problems, such as the valorization of educational resources of different types in formal and non-formal contexts, the identification and promotion of educational models that help pupils and students in selecting and assuming authentic values, and the development of solutions to the challenges that changes in society bring to education systems.
