This is the answer of the Language Consulting Centre to a language-related inquiry. The article discusses the Czech non-standard slang term "kidlit/kydlit," used in the context of computer games to mean 'to kill or massacre enemies.' It explains that the term's spelling is not standardized due to its informal nature and specific user group. The preferred spelling "kydlit" is supported by examples from the Araneum Bohemicum Maximum web corpus, although "kidlit" is occasionally used, reflecting the term's possible connection to the English word "kill."
