Pavel Şuşară’s book brings a new vision on the work of Constantin Brâncuşi, a vision that makes a dent in the older classicized exegeses. The critic insists on Brâncuşi’s obsession to create a sculpture that has in its immanent construction, an inner light that relates it to uncreated light. The author of this book emphasizes Brâncuşi’s refusal of the figurative.
