Summary/Abstract: Every preschool teacher is required to assess the child’s school readiness. In most cases, this assessment is carried out in a subjective manner, without relying on standard research tools. The work presented here is intended to aid the work of the preschool teacher. It puts in their hands a standardized (having the same instructions, scoring method and norms) sample for objective assessment of a child’s school readiness, both in general and in specified areas of functioning (mainly cognitive). The tool was tested on a sample of children preparing for school, and based on the results, it can be concluded that it is a relevant and reliable tool.
