Summary/Abstract: The focus of this article are the issues of teaching and acquiring Cyrillic alphabet. In the first part of the text a contrastive analysis of the Cyrillic and Latin alphabet is made. The second and third part are dealing respectively with reading and writing (manuscript and cursive handwriting and keyboarding).
