Summary/Abstract: The Bulgarian flora is rich and diverse. In recent years, interest in the study of medicinal plants has grown rapidly both around the world and in Bulgaria. Herbal treatment is becoming increasingly popular and preferred by both scientists and patients. Many herbs have the ability to perform different functions. They respond to our genetic code by regulating the body according to the unique needs of the patient. The article presents some herbs (marschmallow, white elderberry, dill, chamomile, mint etc.) in the treatment of children's diseases, such as, asthma, bronchitis, measles, abdominal colic etc., and their use in folk medicine. Linguoculturological analysis of medicinal plants is performed.
