The Impact of the HIV/SIDA Programs that Inform and Sensitize on the Secondary School Pupils

Summary/Abstract: The prevention programs about HIV/SIDA directed to young people can use different methods on propagating the message. The most frequent used method is through the formal educational system, the teachers being the ones who transmit the information to the pupils. The general health education programs can only manage to transmit little information to the pupils concerning HIV/SIDA and they don`t change much of the attitude towards people that are infected with HIV/SIDA. The participation of the people who live with HIV/SIDA to these programs contributes to the increase of the acceptance attitude and the rise of the young people knowledge level.
